In 2011 Parker Brand Creative Services helped a variety of small businesses and organizations in Southwest Louisiana kickstart their dreams of having quality, easy-to-recognize local brands. Espérance Boutique is located inside the Oncology & Hematology Institute in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The boutique provides a unique selection of skin care products, cosmetics, accessories, jewelry and gift items designed to bring a little wing of hope to those currently undergoing cancer treatment.
LeNae Goolsby, the owner of Espérance, contacted us in early 2011 to design a mark that would represent her boutique's unique offerings, and her devotion to those receiving oncological care.
LeNae provided us with many items from her boutique, as well as decorative pieces adorning her shop. These decorative items featured a variety of angelic wings, and we used them as the inspiration for her new mark.
Once the new mark was complete we were comissioned to develop Espérance's stationary which included letterhead, envelopes and business cards. Much of the style we established in the logo design process was echoed in these early print pieces.
With such an extensive line of offerings and products, it was only natural to bring the Espérance Boutique online. LeNae wanted to make online shopping as simple as possible. Our business site platform was a perfect solution, providing customers with the ability to shop right from their smart phone.
After the online boutique was developed, our next move was to create an attractive gift certificate that would be a direct reflection of the Espérance site. With a wide variety of affordable and attractive pieces, an Espérance certificate makes a perfect gift for someone that could use a moral boost. We made purchasing easier by offering the gift certificates through the new Espérance site.
Like any small business owner, LeNae had advertising needs that extended beyond her in-store and online brand touchpoints. We worked closesly with LeNae throughout the year, driving traffic to her new website and offerings through a print campaign in Thrive magazine.
