I often get requests to draw specific comic book characters in various action shots. The characters vary, but the way I draw doesn't change much from piece to piece.

I use black India ink, ink washes and grey markers to produce the character sketch commissions. The inking is done using a variety of tools, such as brushes, quills, markers and pens. I typically add the grey tones in with PITT or Copic markers, but sometimes washes work best.

I put a lot of thought and detail into the characters themselves, but I do not offer detailed backgrounds for these types of sketches. I do, however, use light and texture to backdrop the characters, when appropriate.

Production Time & Delivery

Once your payment has been received, it will take me 5 to 10 working days to produce your sketch. This time fluctuates depending on sketch load at any given time. If you need your sketch produced faster than the alloted time, please contact me and I may be able to expedite your order for an additional fee. Once your order is complete I will ship your finished sketch to you via USPS, providing you with a tracking number.
