Oran Parker
Oran Parker started his advertising career in 1995 with an entry level design and production position at a small sign company. This early hands-on experience started him on a path through the winding road of the creative industries, which helped him develop an in-the-trenches perspective on advertising in general.
He has been on all sides of the profession, from owner/operator to behind-the-scenes production, sales, planning, design and implementation. With each step he's earned the practical, working-experience he puts to use for his clients today.
Oran knows that momentum only builds once you get things moving, and a lack of a decisive, focused action-plan is the best way to send a project in the wrong direction from its onset.
He always thinks through a project's pros and cons from the very beginning, and utilizes group-brainstorming, mind-mapping, and sketching out ideas as a part of this process. For this method of working to be effective, he takes extra care to include his clients in the creative process.
"Creating useful advertising means stepping into the mind of the audience, putting their shoes on, eating what they eat, standing in the same lines they stand in, watching the shows they watch... you've gotta catch their cold," says Oran "You really have to try your very best to get outside of yourself and become an objective observer—all while participating—seeing the world from a consumer point-of-view, getting right inside their likes and dislikes, their needs and desires."
Oran believes that being an effective communicator means being part artist, carpenter, writer, fool, sage, psychologist, observer, servant, listener and almost 100% creative problem solver.
He says, "My personal motto? When you don't know what to do to get started, take a deep breath, put one foot in front of the other, and just do something. The right action will arise from there."

It didn't take Michelle Parker long to figure out what what she wanted be when she grew up. She caught the design bug immediately while taking her first tech-prep class in high school, which lead her to pursue a degree in Graphic Communication at SOWELA Technical Community College in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Throughout her technical education, she interned at Louisiana Marketing & Design—at the time, the lake area's premier advertising agency—where she developed a quiet eye for good design, and a drive to expand her creative skill-set. Michelle further honed her creative abilities in production and print design, and later took the role as the lead designer for Whitbeck Advertising, where her commitment to excellence won many local and regional awards. She continued to be among the top tier of graphic communicators in Southwest Louisiana as the senior designer for Lake City Printing, creating graphic works that received gold, and silver ADDY awards, as well as the much coveted Communicator Award—an award given to only the very best print advertising in the nation.
Her design bug proved to be contagious, and has lead to a creative partnership with her husband at Parker Brand Creative Services, a traditional & new media marketing group located in Sulphur, Louisiana. Now, the professionalism and quality that she has nurtured for over a decade is being put to work for her clients.
Driving her own destiny as a graphic designer was an idea that she toyed with for many years, but now the idea has become a reality. "Parker Brand Creative Services is more than just another advertising agency," she says. "It's an opportunity for my husband and I to take our individual philosophies towards life, relationships, and business, then inject them into every project we work on. Parker Brand Creative gives us an opportunity to bring together two separate and unique sets of talent and experience, and create a synergy that is going to change the way people think about the teams they hire to energize their businesses, or groups." Now, Michelle is all grown up, and the design bug hasn't stopped biting. Today she sits in the creative hot seat at Parker Brand Creative Services, not only as an owner, but as the brand's Art Director. It's a chair she's been moving towards her whole professional life.
