The best exhibit systems are designed to do more than communicate information—they are built to grow alongside the organizations they serve.
Parker Brand Creative Services was proud to partner with the Creole Heritage Center at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, with support from the Cane River National Heritage Area, to develop a flexible and expandable exhibit display system designed to celebrate, preserve, and share Louisiana Creole culture.
The project began with the development of a primary exhibit package consisting of a large-format retractable banner display, tabletop educational exhibits, and supporting event materials. As the Creole Heritage Center's needs evolved, the display system expanded to include additional exhibit panels and companion tabletop displays built around the primary "We Are Creole" centerpiece.
From the outset, the project required thoughtful planning. The Creole Heritage Center maintains an extensive archive of photographs, historical resources, and cultural materials, making it essential that the display system remain adaptable as content and exhibition needs changed over time.
Rather than creating a rigid exhibit solution, Parker Brand Creative Services developed a modular display system that could be configured in multiple ways. The result allows the organization to utilize individual displays for smaller events or combine the full collection into a larger educational exhibit experience.
Projects like this highlight the importance of strong communication, active listening, and a collaborative design process. Throughout development, multiple concepts, layouts, and configurations were explored before arriving at the final solution. By combining creative direction, production expertise, and technology-driven proofing systems, our team worked closely with stakeholders to ensure the final display system reflected both the Center's mission and its long-term goals.

Whether designing museum exhibits, interpretive displays, signage systems, educational materials, wayfinding programs, or brand communications, our goal remains the same: create solutions that tell meaningful stories and stand the test of time.
